6 Scriptures to Help You Navigate Change
In a very short period, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a lot of change! We must acknowledge the uncertainty that comes from job losses, high unemployment rates, and parents who have become teachers and chefs at rather intense levels.
We went from digital as an option to digital-only when ordering restaurant food, conducting work meetings, celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations, and worshipping with our church family. At the same time, many of us have experienced the impact of the virus on the health of our loved ones.
Here are some scriptures to help ground us as we navigate change.
Psalm 59:17 — O my Strength, to You I sing praises, for You, O God, are my Refuge, the God who shows me unfailing love.
Philippians 1:6 — I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
Lamentations 5:19 — Lord, You remain the same forever! Your throne continues from generation to generation.
Hebrews 13:8 — Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 — God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.
Isaiah 40:8 — The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.
