Overnight Oatmeal Without Yogurt
Base recipe
½ cup Old-Fashioned rolled oats
¾ cup liquid (nut milk, oat milk, coconut milk, water)
1 tbsp sweetener (maple syrup, honey, agave nectar)
¼ tsp vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
Mix well to ensure oats are fully combined.
Pour into an airtight storage container.
Store in the refrigerator to soak for a minimum of 12 hours.
Before serving, stir the mixture to combine.
May be served hot or cold.
Overnight oats can be served straight from the refrigerator, warmed in the microwave for one minute, or heated on the stovetop for 3 minutes.
If you prefer a thinner consistency, add a bit of liquid, then add your favorite (fast-compliant) toppings
